Re: [wireline] Multi arm Caliper interpretation

I'm sorry but why do you need to interpret a log for the customer? Does he/she not know what they bought or why they wanted this run? Moreover, how do you know if the tool is working properly to begin with? I have experience with Multi-Arm calipers that have individual snesors for each arm and ones that don't. What software 'package' are you using.
REgards,
Kevin (Mr. 20 questions)

Subject: [wireline] Multi arm Caliper interpretation

I am a field engineer I have recently been schooled in the operations of running a 40 arm Mit Caliper tool from sondex. I now need literature or instruction on how to interpret the log for customers. (holes, pits, collapsed pipe etc.) any help will be greatly appreciated.
