Connection Problem from Windows 2000 to Unix   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #597 of 675 |
I am trying to run the WL shell Explorer from my windows 2000
Professional Desktop and connect to the Web Logic Server on my Unix
machine.

Every Time I connect, I get the following error:

"2006-02-21 10:53:14 ERROR - error: javax.naming.CommunicationException
[Root exception is java.net.ConnectException: t3://(host:port):
Bootstrap to host/host_IP:port failed. It is likely that the remote
side declared peer gone on this JVM]"

Note: The actual message has the host, Host_IP, and port info where my
example shows "host", "host_IP", and "port"

However, everything works if I log into any unix machine and run
WLShell from there.
The only reason I wish to run this from my desk top is so the Explorer
Display performance is better.

Does anyone know what I can do to remedy this?
