can anyone give me some clue about what is wrong with my site or with
google mobile search?
check
http://mobivid.tv and it is a mobile site. i have all the neccecary
headers placed and got it xhtml valid but google thinks it is a web
site.

mobile search gives only 2 results
http://www.google.com/xhtml/search?mrestrict=xhtml&q=site%
3Amobivid.tv&btnG=Search&site=mobile


web search clearly shows that google thinks its a web site
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%
3Amobivid.tv&btnG=Google+Search

i always use xhtml mime type, site is intended for mobile devices and i dont alter it according to device ... with ... neccecary ... web...

Not all phones understand application/xhtml+xml . You should check the Accept header to see if the phone can accept that before sending back ...
