I completed my wood supply in mid- June for this coming winter. I'm clearing out
another 60ft or so and have about 1 and1/2 cords towards next years supply. I've
always been envious of you all who have the space and initiative to get ahead
with your wood supply. I think that since next years supply I am putting
up now will have that much more time to season, I can get away with thicker
rows for better space utilization( I always leave gaps through the rows for air
ventilation). I know 15-20% is the gold standard for seasoning, but wonder if in
gereral, wood wood dry even more if left to season for say several years? I
speculate wood will probably stabilize in dryness

We have had a quite a number of droughts here, lasting 24-72 hours :(
My gosh, it's been almost 40 hours since we've had rain.
