The Indiana County Chapter of the WPMC will hold the chapters inaugural meeting at Blue Spruce Park Lodge located near Ernest Pa. on July 8, 2009 beginning at 6:00p.m. Topics will include an introduction to the WPMC, its benefits and activities along with a brief history of the club. Also on the agenda will be a Mushroom hunter basics class taught by Bob and Ginny Sleigh aimed at informing new and experienced mushroom hunters alike on the safe harvesting, handling and preparing of wild mushrooms. The meeting will wind up with a brief discussion of future plans for the new chapter and a question and answer period for attendees. Following the directions below, after turning into the park entrance you will pass two ball fields and then a pavilion on the right. The road into Blue Spruce Lodge is on the right just after the pavilion.
