The Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) invites submissions from youth led projects within the Asia Pacific region that utilise information communication technologies for development (ICT4D).
The GKP would like to highlight some best practices based on youth projects from the Asia Pacific region at InfoSoc Malaysia 2003 International Conference and Exposition that is set to take place from the 21st - 24th of June 2003 in Melaka. This year the theme of the conference is “Empowering youth for value creation”.
Scholarships will be provided for successful applicants who will showcase their projects at InfoSoc 2003 to the attention of a broader spectrum of stakeholders from the international civil society, private entities and government agencies. This is in conformity with GKP’s effort to bring greater visibility to youth roles, involvement and contribution in the Information Society.
