The technique involves injecting cells from aborted foetuses. The Guardian newspaper's Jonathan Watts reports from Beijing.

There's a nice BBC reportage on the use of embryonic stem cells in China: http://news.bbc.co.uk/ then click on 'Watch BBC news in video', then click on 'health", then select the item from the list. You need a high-speed connection.
