Description

wxAstroCapture - Windows linuX Astronomy Capture

This group is dedicated to the multi-platform software program wxAstroCapture. Here you can solve problems and share ideas and experiences. The software is primarily intended for astronomical use, such as lunar, solar or planetary imaging using webcams.

wxAstroCapture is developed by Martin Burri and Carsten Arnholm.

The software runs on Windows XP/Vista, Linux Kubuntu/Ubuntu 8.04->10.04, Linux SuSE 10.2 and more. Please see the Links section for instructions and download information.

The screenshot at right includes an Artemis 285 image made by Tom How.

"Error accessing port: COM10"
Hi all, I get an error "Error accessing port: COM10" when WXAS trial. The capture software such as GuiderMaster, Starcap still works fine. WXAS are not

I got PHD to compile and run on my linux box. I haven't tried it out yet with the SSAG and EQ5 mount yet though. Please let me know if you get the driver

Hi Phillip. I put the original *.zip file in a dropbox folder called astro drivers which I shared with you. The zip file has three files in it. Two files open

Sorry for the hassle Phillip. Orion tried sending it as a zip and it would not ge past Google. So that is why the name change. I ran into the same problem
