The 3rd release of XDP is ready for download. There are a lot of
updates. I've removed the MPEGs to cut down on size, making this
release only 39 MB compared to the previous release which was 50 MB.
If you have a previous version, I'd say it's worth getting this one...
especially if you haven't downloaded since the 1st release.
I plan to make available a "barebones" version shortly for those of you
who are on 56K or slower (like me) and don't want to download 39 MB.
There is a known bug that is left over from the 2nd release - when you
load a bookmark, 1/2 the screen is black. I was holding off on
releasing this until the bug was fixed, but after much hunting, I've
not been able to locate the cause. So, I'm presenting it as-is. If
anyone would like to try to find the cause of the bug, please do so and
report your findings either here, or at psd.com feedback.
Enjoy the browser!

Just wanted to let everyone know that XDP is currently being uploaded.
I'm on a 24K connection so it'll take a while. I'll post again when
it's finished.

Thanks. Anyone who has received a browser from me might want to inform
some of the folks at DCEmulation that it does NOT have 4x4 Evo included
on it. Since Curtis AKA Nightstalker started the lies, it's been a
touchy subject.
I just wanted to say that I have been using XDP for a couple months now

dust. Thanks Ex and everyone else who worked on it.

Curt is leaving the group. This is the 1st I've heard about it
though. It seems he started a big stink on dcemulation before even
discussing it with me (which I have just noticed).
What happened? It seems Curt got mad/jealous that I had sent
sgrande99 a browser back a few years ago, but didn't send him one.
It didn't matter that I didn't even know Curt back then.
I have considered Curt a friend, but he has issues he needs to work
out. Until then, there seems to be more trouble than what it's worth
having him around, so if he wishes to leave... I back his decision.
As for the XDP "sale only" and 4x4 Evo rumors he started... Lies.
4x4 Evo has not and will not be offered with XDP. XDP will be
available for download as soon as I work out one last bug. Curt
knows this, but chooses to speak the contrary.
XDP is on-track. It is not going anywhere. It WILL be available for
download as soon as I fix the bug.
Curt, I hope you work out your issues and find stability. When this
happens, you are welcome to return. I sincerely wish you the best.

Hi, I've been out of town a lot for the past month & 1/2. I'm at home right now and plan to be on chat tonight if anyone wants to meet.

PC users who don't have an IRC client can use the java chat page on community section of my site. Planetweb users can simply click the link there.
I'll be uploading a new version of XDP very soon. I basicly have just one bug that I want to work out before I commit to an upload.

Me too! Please, that stupid Broadband Passport cannot download the
game saves from websites. PLEEEEEEESE!
Does anyone know where I can find one of these browsers? Outside of
the shady shops that still have them cause they took all the lan
adapters out of the box and sold them as bba's and now they have a
bunch of lan browsers sitting around, that is. I found one of these to
add to my collection, not for NetBSD or linux, just to have in my
collection. Unfortunately it did not come with the lan browser. So if
anyone has any ideas, please post them.
