I wanted to announce that we have started a funded XIPF project based
around MPEG 21. You can find out more information at:

The project is funded by The Government of Canada, Project Opus
Technologies, and Simon Fraser University. Everyone who wants to get
involved is welcome. We hoped to publish a starting draft tomorrow,
but it looks like we are still a week or two away. We are eager to
participate with as many interested parties as possible.
This is an open invitation for input, help, advice and criticism.
