The XMetaL-DITA group was started and is moderated by Bernard Aschwanden and Kay Whatley (Ethier). It is a private effort by a team of individuals and is not a corporate project. The goal of the group is to educate XMetaL users in working with the DITA standard.

Thanks for that help - I have put my dtds in the folder under XMetal Shared, and seem to have resolved previous issues with my specialization not working with

Hi I strongly suggest to upgrade to XMetaL Author DITA or Enterprise Edition 5.1 !! We had trouble to solve this step with 5.0 SP1. In 5.1 there is a menu item

Thanks, Paul. It actually turned out to be a problem in my environment. I got that corrected and then I bypassed XMetal and called the build file directly

Newbie Q: How to install a specialization in XMetal
Hi, I'm new to DITA and XMetal, I am trying to install specialization into XMetal but I don't find the help manual very clear. So far I have added a .mod file
