The XMetaL-DITA group was started and is moderated by Bernard Aschwanden and Kay Whatley (Ethier). It is a private effort by a team of individuals and is not a corporate project. The goal of the group is to educate XMetaL users in working with the DITA standard.

Hi I strongly suggest to upgrade to XMetaL Author DITA or Enterprise Edition 5.1 !! We had trouble to solve this step with 5.0 SP1. In 5.1 there is a menu item
