We are finalizing schedules for this XML conference:
The Summer XML 2009 Conference
July 27-28, 2009
Raleigh, North Carolina USA
http://www.aboveandbeyondlearning.com/xmlconference.html
This Summer XML is a restart of the old "Tri-XML" conferences.
If you've been thinking about submitting a presentation proposal, now is the
time! Our slate is almost full, and keynotes about to be announced. Please
email your topic ideas directly to
mailto:kaywhatley@... . In addition to the topics
listed on the conferences website, we are interested in presentations on XML
and social media/future tech.
All speakers attend the event at no charge, and receive a free conference
pass for one of their peers, clients, or colleagues.
Presentations must technical, knowledge-sharing, and without marketing. They
may be geared toward use of XML in engineering, general IT, publishing, and
other industries. Our conferences are for the users, and we choose
presenters carefully to ensure that attendees will receive good technical
information in each session. Marketing of products and services cannot be
part of a presentation. Whether a presenter works for a software vendor or a
services vendor, they cannot market themselves and products. Presentations
using products may be case studies, tutorials, or informational; they cannot
market for or against use of the product in general. Speakers cannot promote
themselves and their companies during presentations; that may be done
privately during networking time at the conference.
Thank you,
Kay
