Could you post some of these links? In the first ten pages of links from a
Google search for "Open Directory Project", I found exactly one mild
complaint that a site had not been listed, and no ex-editor complaints.
It seems to me that the ex-editor thing may be winding down. There was much
more activity last year. Have they started being more selective about who
they exclude? Are there new procedures to discourage unjust bannings? Did
some of the metas grow up a little, or did some of the removals from meta
status have a calming effect? Are we no longer effective in guiding
ex-editors here, or are they hanging out somewhere else?
I really don't know. My few "ins" at the project have mostly done their
several months of peak editing and moved on. I understand this is a fairly
normal editing pattern, but it leaves me without much information.
