Hi there,
I just got myself a new 500GB external USB hard drive which I
connected to my front USB.
Now XOSL is not booting anymore. Instead I see the XOSL splash screen
and a small message saying: malloc() out of memory. No changes in BIOS
have been made and the USB disk does not show up as bootable item
anyway. I did have a smaller USB disk with 160GB before with no
problem at all.
Strange enough I recently get a similar error when re-starting from
Windows XP. In this case just the splash screen shows, no
"out-of-memory" message.
I got XOSL 1.1.5 installed on a dedicated partition.
Any idea what to do about this strange feature?
Thanks for any input,
Thomas
