This has been written and is currently being tested for the next release,
due out very soon. I believe ProTools calls this "Slip" editing. XO Wave
will call it ripple editing, but it's the same idea.

You could jump to the first marker and type '[' to set the selection
start, then jump to the second marker and type ']' to set the selection
end. You can assign keyboard shortcuts to the markers in the memory
locations manager window, which makes that easier.

Almost all the features are in, but that's a big one. Stay tuned to this
