ATP Software Developer
The Audit Transformation Program (ATP) at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)
seeks an outstanding senior software engineer for a new project that is
developing the next-generation audit support system for the global
network.
The ATP project uses an agile development approach based on evolving
requirements articulated by a team of audit subject matter experts. The
software developers work with these experts to understand their needs,
design and build software that satisfy those needs, get feedback from
auditors and iterate through the build and feedback steps until highly
effective solutions have been created, validated and deployed to PwC
audit teams.
Successful candidates will have notable and relevant programming
experience in C# and .NET, be up-to-date in their knowledge, and have
strong academic preparation and a strong track record of programming in
a commercial software development environment. Successful candidates
will also have strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to
work well in teams made up of extraordinary technical staff, project
managers, architects, and external consultants; ability to lead small
teams and/or work independently with equal effectiveness; excellent
problem-solving skills. The project is located in San Jose, CA. There
are a total of 8 positions.
Fixed term
Required experience:
- 5 or more years of professional software development
- 2 or more years of recent C# and .NET experience
- 2 or more years of SQL experience
- 2 or more years experience of agile or iterative development
Desired experience
- Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent
- User interface design
- Extreme Programming development process
- Scrum Master certification
Education requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Advanced degree highly desirable.
