Call for Submission of Practitioner's Reports
DATES
March 31, 2003 for Practitioner's Reports submission.
April, 15, 2003 for acceptance notification.
May 1, 2003 for final manuscript submission:
GOAL AND SCOPE
Practitioners' Reports provide a lightweight format for presenting minor
results or late-breaking work that is not developed enough for a full
paper. For example, this might include an account of a project with a
discussion of the significant lessons to be drawn from the experience.
PhD candidates are particularly encouraged to submit reports describing
their ongoing work, in addition to attending the PhD symposium.
Submissions are sought in all relevant areas of XP and Lightweight
Methodologies.
Accepted Practitioners' Reports will be presented as posters during
interactive sessions.
Posters will be pinned up in the poster session area. During poster
sessions, the authors will stand by their posters so that conference
participants can find them and discuss posters they find interesting.
Authors will have space for laptops if they also want to provide
demonstrations.
HOW TO SUBMIT
The Practitioner's Report abstract, of no more than two pages, should
include a title, author names and affiliations and an optional URL for
further reading or reference.
Submitted reports should follow the format guidelines specified on the
web site http://www.xp2003.org/docs/XP2003.pdf, and are limited to two
A4 pages.
To ease the formatting of the final collection of the reports, the
final versions of accepted Practitioner's Reports must be in
Microsoft Word format.
The use of specific styles will not be allowed.
