XXCOPY is a multi-purpose file management utility for the Windows platforms. This discussion group serves as a forum for all levels of XXCOPY users ranging from individual Freeware users to IT professionals in corporate settings with system management responsibilities.

Licence problem with xxcopy64
Hi Kan, Every time I try to get an update or beta copy of xxcopy64, your site tells me that my licence is out-of-date. Since you said it was a 'lifetime'

... As a general rule, xxcopy does not do any file renaming and always treats the destination as a directory path. There are some exceptions but I don't think

Maybe I am dumb (probably) or xxcopy can't do it
What I want to do is quite simple. I want to copy one File to a specific folder and rename it in the process. Thats what I thought it has to look like: xxcopy
