Description

y-accessibility is a group where users of assistive technologies (screen readers, voice recognition, magnification and other software) who use various Yahoo! products can exchange their experiences regarding the accessibility features of services offered by Yahoo!. For more information about Yahoo! Accessibility initiatives please visit accessibility.yahoo.com. This group will offer:
  • Updates from the Yahoo! Inclusive Design Team.
  • Tips and tricks on using various Yahoo! products.
  • Accessibility-related announcements of general interest.
  • and more.
The following simple rules govern the use of this group by its members:
  1. All discussions should be related to Yahoo! products and services. It is OK to post accessibility-related announcements of general interest, however, they may be removed by a moderator if found to be unrelated to accessibility.
    • Please contact the group moderator if you are unsure whether your message is on-topic.
  2. Keep the subject and the content of the message clear and concise.
  3. Before posting a question to the list, check the group archives to see if it wasn't already answered earlier by someone else.
  4. When posting to the group, be respectful towards other group members.
    • Offensive language is strictly prohibited on this list.
    • When addressing personal issues with another lister, please contact that person off-list.
  5. The moderators reserve the right to remove repeat offenders from the list.
Please note:
  • this group is monitored by the members of the Yahoo! Global Inclusive Design team who view this forum as an opportunity to keep in touch with our users.
  • this group does not in any way represent the opinions of Yahoo! or its employees.
