as playing poker some jerk came in started
typing out rank messages in my handle(name) can this be
done? guess it can. The ladies in the room were not
impressed! Either was I. His name is Wally, so be prepared.
We had a good group of people playing, until he
showed up. This player should loose all Yahoo rights
don't think this is an official complaint dept,,just a get it off your chest
place. Did you delete some files? Maybe something was attached with chat's..did
you try getting in through cchat?
lease help me if you can I can no longer enter
any club chat rooms neither can my wife. Not even our
club chat room. My wife use to chat in one of her
clubs and now she cant even get into it. All we get is
a brown screen.
baddaz4x4-Robert
n cchat my message posts on main screen,,,cchat says it's yahoo prob,,yahoo says
it's cchats prob,
someone can't pull up my prof,,yahoo says it's their
problem.
ear yahoo I was chating with my girlfriend with
your yahoo page and the allof a sudden she was not
seeing what I was typing but I could see what she was. I
could type but she told me latter nothing was comming
up and we must of sat there for an hour typing hello
to each other. So yahoo can you tell me WHAT THE
FUCK HAPPEND? And can I fix it or is it something you
did?
ahoo has created the Gay Mens Lounge for people
like me to use them. I'm tired of bashers coming in
there and getting away with things like: Death Threats,
Obcene Profanity, to just name a few. I joined this club
oping that something will be done.
'm trying to find how I can post a message without replying. How can I do this.
I've tried Yahoo! Help, but =(. I just hope that you're not an automated robot
like "YahooHelper"
i everyone, I'm a 12/f, what I need help on is that, when I want to create a
profile they say I'm too young but I have seen 12 profiles, in the Yahoo sites.
Could anyone help me?
hen anyone searches on the name of my company
"PS Executive Centers, Inc." you are sent to a
relocation company ... this has been occurring for a month,
numerous resubmissions and complaints have fallen on deaf
ears. Now what??
ell, I agree. for the most part yahoo is okay, a
little rough around the edges sometimes but I've had
minimal problems with it. I've had e-mail problems about
15% of the time, but that's why people have more than
one e-mail right?
oday when I logged into MY YAHOO it said I was a
guest. I had to get out of that, and log in to Yahoo
e-mail, get out of that and get back in to MY Yahoo.
After all that, it works! That SUCKS! Yahoo SUCKS! Does
Yahoo have an e-mail address? I'm ready to
complain!

Justin
or the most part I think Yahoo is OK. But, everytime I've had a question, I've
never gotten a response thru e-mail? Has anyone else had simillar
experience?

Thanks, Justin
cut 'n' pasted the above message, I'll
paraphrase the responses:

1) Say a server is down.
Which would be more productive: Answering 10,000 emails
saying "Hey, your server is down!" or bringing up said
server?

2)
Read
http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/6174/gm-comp.htm

to
see why LESS user interaction can be a GOOD
thing.

I declined the offer to forward the hundreds of
emails she said tech suport get every day to here.
ell Steve, your "friend" in Yahoo, might want to
look at this club and yours and mabye get some
openions or suggestions from us. You know, even the great
folks at Hughes Aircraft and Grummend etc send their
debuggers to NASA to find out what the users think and what
problems they have. And they are also successful like
Yahoo, maybe its time Yahoo personell took an example
from them and applied this method to reach out to the
users instead of the winding corridors of help.

It would be nice to know people at Yahoo cared
enough to give their great success a more personal
touch. As Ive said before, Yahoo, ICQ, Netscape, and
Microsoft all have become such a maze of information on the
net, that its very hard to find someplace to send a
suggestion or send a question.

ICQ has turned into
some information maze that even their cover (
http://www.icq.com ) page looks very
congested. I would love to redo
their web pages.

Yahoo risks the same end,
overabundance of information mazes which most people wont
bother to read.

I have thought people to use
ICQ, IRC, and even web page design, and it seems they
all want to be told "simply" what to do instead of
the complex ritualistic approaches that companies
seem to evolve to as they grow.

So, encourage
your friend to visit clubs, join them and say, Hi, Im
a Yahoo employee, and want to know if there is
anything I can help with, anything I can explain, or can
you tell me if you are happy with the way this works.
That would surely give people a sense of confidence
and feeling of partnership towards Yahoo.

Thanks again for your reply.
ne feature I'd love to see is the ability to
sort clubs by number of members (ala Yahoo! message
boards where you can sort by date, alphabetically, or
number of messages on a board).

Actually,
CONFESSION TIME: I know someone at Yahoo! (I've been
threatened with a slow, painful death if I reveal her name
and/or email address) who's working on Yahoo! Clubs. I
even did a little Beta testing (which is why I made
the Yahoo! Clubs Club). She knows about that one (but
she didn't join. *snort of indignation*). She may or
may not know about this one (I'll ask her next time I
see her).
teve, thanks for your post...what features were
you referring to that were not implimented?

I
saw your club, thanks for posting it...have you found
a way to reach the Yahoo people yet?
Have any
Yahoo staff been made aware of your club or this club??
o complaints about Yahoo! per se; just curious
on what other folks have to say - although I do
post
bugs and ask for features in the Yahoo! Clubs
Club:
http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/ycc .

So far all the bugs
mentioned have
been
fixed but none of the features we've asked for have
been implemented.
t would be nice if those of you who joined would
give some input
to the posts or post a complaint
about yahoo or something......

It would be nice
to see some participation by others. I sure wouldnt
want this to be a one man crusade.

So, post
your gripes and suggestions for change and I'll put it
on our home page for Yahoo to see.
will be posting my compliants here soon.
One I particularly dont care for is the Yahoo chat,
when you PM (Private Messege) someone, and then get
another messege, if you are in middle of typing in window
one, and window two opens, your messege text ends up
in the new window. If you dont pay attention, your
text goes to the wrong person.
ount me in on your complaints to yahoo, I am in
full agreement with you about all the previous points
you made.
Thank you for the chance to let me on
board. Im tired of having to sort through as you say
"mazes" of information and no one to respond personally.
oin up, and post your complaints to Yahoo, we'll
make sure they get this information somehow. So, if
you are frustrated because Yahoo hasnt replied to you
or want to help Yahoo improve their giant system,
join us and post your suggestions and hopfully, they
will start to take notice.
ahoo issues members a main handle or ID they
issue new members, and once you have such a membership,
you can go to your edit features and add other names
or aliasas which all are under your main ID.
On
at least three occasions I have tried add an alias,
a secondary name to my main one, and Yahoo would
NOT accept the name, for some reason which was not
given. The screen simply reappered without the name I
put in, but the rest of the info still intact. To the
right of the blank text area for the name, there are
some basic instructions such as "Do not use letters
such as &^%$#@!)( " which I was not using, and after
many tries, changed the name, and it either was
accepted, or not...and when it wasnt accepted, then I went
back to the first name that was rejected, and then it
was.

My complaint is, why doesn't Yahoo give a
GOOD reason for this rejection??? They could easily
say you are using wrong characters, or "someone else
has that ID" etc. Yet they don't, they simply keep
sending you back, like a child with the wrong math
answer, and make you keep trying over and over...all
without an explination.

Come on Yahoo, you havnt
gotten that big that you cant sort out that bug!!!!
ver want to write to someone at Yahoo, and cant
find any place to write them? And if you do find an
email to write them, you get an automated reply?
Well, thats whats wrong with big conglomorates as they
get so big, they forget the simple things like one on
one communications. I realize Yahoo has a huge
membership list now, and I am sure they have alot to deal
with, but have you seen their market share earnings
lately???
Making money and good service go hand in hand.
Other
culperts who are also negligent are, Netscape, and
Microsoft.
Each one, Yahoo, Netscape, and Microsoft have
a huge maze of pages which one has to go through to
find help or specific program. Another newcomer to
this maze of unreachable service is Mirables Corp, the
makers of ICQ Chat, now a part of Microsoft.

I
remember when ICQ was at its infancy, when you had a
question, you could be sure to get a "human" reply. Try it
now, its a maze of corridors leading to
nowhere.

It would be nice to see Yahoo and company, focus on
some easy way to get feedback from their users without
the promisary "bot" (robot) replies.
have noticed that when I want to log on to
yahoo, I have to click the "Mail" icon and then a logon
edit box appears.
Why cant Yahoo have a place for
members to log on without the hassle of going to view
mail?????
