<<<1. Prevent Duplicate Invites
Have a simple memory "cache" set up within each Group, that would
prevent the same Yahoo! ID or email addy from being invited to the
same Group within a time frame of maybe 6 months.>>>
Oh, I'm sorry but I have a problem with this one. We are only given
one week to respond to an invitation and after that it expires. If
the person wants to join, but is away from the computer for a few
days then this might prevent him from joining, and then he couldn't
get another invite for 6 months. Also, sometimes someone
accidentally deletes an email like this and then when they discover
later who sent it to them they regret it and ask for another to be
sent to them.
I hate getting multiple invites from the same person to the same club
when I don't intend to join.... but this one inhibits people who
might
1. Not get the original invite because the web was playing up
2. Be away from the computer, or too busy to respond in the week the
invitation is sent
3. Change their minds
4. Delete themselves accidentally from the wrong club.
Kezzie :-) :o)
