you picked up a wonderful camera, imho. I have a
yashicamat (broken)a yashica lm and a yashica 44lm.
most people i know that shoot yashicas use a hand held
light meter even if they have a built in one. more
accurate i think. i shoot a roll of color to 3 or 4
of b&w. just put in a dark room over christmas.
quite enjoy it.

Hi Folks, I think the Seagulls are the only TLR film cameras still being made. How do they compare to the Yashicamats? I have a 124 G....

No one should buy a Yashica TLR because it's got a light meter built in. The selenium ones are likely to be unreliable if working at all now. They never were...
