Larry, good to hear from you and see Dick's reply.

I recently returned to Medium Format, I've had a little bit of
everything in the way of equipment, but never was even close to
professional with any of it. Strickly a hobby.

I got a Yashicamat 124 today in the mail, an Ebay purchase, and its a
jewel. I cant wait to get some photos and get on here and pester
everyone.

I posted to Yashicamat a short time ago also, I have had cameras
since I was 7 or 8 years old, but was always told "Dont waste your
film on that", so as a result lots of things went by with only a
distance memory in my brain. Since getting back into photography a
few years ago, I took them at their word when they said film is the
cheapest part of the hobby, use it, and I have. I have found photos
that seem rather insignificant right now may certainly mean something
to someone 20 years down the road. Only problem is, Im not very
good at putting any information with snapshots. Many times I have
looked at school pictures, just like we all have, and though, gees,
wonder who that one is?

Digital will never replace film cameras at my house, they have a
place here, but its not on the top shelf.
Dave
