i just got a Yashica A TLR. i got it for really cheap and it looked
good. well today i got a chance to run two rolls through it of delta
400. i must say that this camera works great and produced wonder
images..i like the square format so much!! i am in love with it now.
well now that I've printed a few shots and have seen what can be
done..let me ask a few questions. 1. i noticed a bit of a dullness
in th contrast...is this due to processing? of course after a grade
3-5 contrast filter the images shined. i know i exposed it good
because i was using a spot meter for all of my shots. 2. how much
better is the newer Yashica TLR's in comparison to the A...in
sharpness. the images i produced where sharp and in focus but having
no experience on any other trl or medium format camera its hard to
know if its good or not. having said that though...i think the
images i can make with this camera is worth 4 times to $ i paid.
