I gotta agree, and I think people were saying this about a month ago when the first news came out about the Yahoo move. I don't want to have
to register something just to sign up to a mailing list. Just sign me up to the mailing list - I really don't care about "centralized subscription mgmt" etc. A bunch of my Mac-related lists move to Google
recently, so I'm not on them anymore.

Apologies for the inconvenience. The digest settings did not get
transferred properly, and we are working to get those fixed. In the
meantime, please bear with us.
The discuss@... address is now just a pointer to this one, as
the box that controlled the old list functionality has gone away. I'm
not familiar with nabble, but if it was designed to work with the old
mailing list protocol, I suspect it will no longer function.

Hi Mike,
Yes there is. Click on 'Edit Membership' right above the group name and pick
the 'Message Delivery' option you like e.g. daily digest.

Excuse my ignorance, is there a digest option like on the previous

At this juncture I have been in sales longer than I've been a programmer but I am interested in writing and wonder if you occasionally have writing opportunities similar to the del.icio.us stuff from time to time that might fit my background (BSEE, MBA, programmer, project mgmt, sales, consulting). While I don't pay the rent through specific expertise in technology I remain fascinated by it all and have used this curiosity to remain abreast of recent developments. Perhaps editing or vetting?

Hello Chris,
I might be interested in doing some writing for this. I'm the author
of Foxylicious, a Firefox extension that merges your del.icio.us
bookmarks into your browser bookmarks.
I'd like to write about this kind of integration, and also about
integrating del.icio.us with the new bookmarks/history system coming
in Firefox 2: Places.
Another book idea: While this seems like it might be a useful book for
del.icio.us developers, it seems a pretty narrow focus. With the
plethora of online services available these days, and the growing
trend of integrating them into desktop applications, I'd like to see a
book with a broader scope, that addresses programming tools, platforms
and patterns for bridging the desktop and the Web.
Thanks,
Dietrich

http://del.icio.us/rss/judell/system:media:audio+soundbite
doesn't have enclosures (and doesn't work in the podcatcher) but
del.icio.us/rss/tag/system:media:audio
does (and does work).
