Welcome
to the Y!PB and Basic Web Site Help Group.
GeoCities users
must decide if they want to continue to have a site.
It can always be difficult to move a GeoCities site
to a non-Y! web server, but PB sites are a special challenge.
Recommended method: print out all your pages, download your images, choose
a new host and web editor, rebuild your site on
your hard drive, and FTP the site to your new web host.
If
you need help dealing with the closing of
GeoCities, someone may be able to help.
Converting to Y! WebHosting?
If you are able to move your PB pages over with no
difficulty, please tell others what to watch for,
where to click, etc.
Just
two basic rules: No spam, and please
maintain a polite, civil tone.
Posts
by new members must be approved by a moderator,
which can cause a delay of several days.
