Glad to hear you got these tracks working again. Internally, we'll add
some more varieties of mp3s to our test pages to see if we can
reproduce, and also prevent it from happening for others.
Thanks

OK
I think I fixed it.
I "converted" the bit rate.
For Prayer I tried a lot of different rates. The only one that worked
was what "SWITCH SOUND FILE CONVERTER" called a variable but rate.

Hi guys,
I am back again with
http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html
<http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html>
I thought we had this problem fixed, but either there was a change
someplace or we overlooked it.
PRAYER and ROCK are playing at half tempo in all my browsers (Explorer,
Safari, Firefox). The other tunes seem OK.
Keep the faith
Gus

Hi Gus,
We are looking into the issue of some of the tracks playing at the wrong
speed. At first glance, I notice that the two songs that are playing
slow are encoded at a bit rate of 128 kbps, while the others are encoded
at different bit rates (160 or 192). This probably isn't the cause of
the problem, but you might find a temporary workaround by re-encoding
the files at a different bit rate. Meanwhile, we'll continue to work on
finding the cause of the issue.
Thanks,
-Mike Davis

I am sorry -- I have been tinkering with the html and I don't quite know
where I was.
The situation has changed.
I have a web page with 15 MP3 tunes on it.
http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html
<http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html>
<http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html
<http://www.meemzmusic.com/Listen1.html> >
It does have the following command on it:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/js
<http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/js>
<http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/js <http://mediaplayer.yahoo.com/js> >
"></script>
The html for all of the tunes is like the following:
<a href="music/Ska.mp3" > </a>Ska Circus <br><br>
Now it works for all three browsers: Safari, Firefox and Explorer.
But two of the tunes play at half speed:
However I also have the two offending tunes on the page with the
following html
Ska Circus ........... <EMBED SRC="music/Ska.mp3" AUTOSTART=False
LOOP=FALSE height=20 width=144></EMBED>
and this brings up a player that plays the tunes at the correct speed.
Unfortunately Safari does not recognize the Embed code, otherwise I
would be content just to use that.
I appreciate the help. I hope I didn't send you on a wild goose chase
with my previous note.

So you aren't getting a play button next to the music links?
