5.04 sounds like Ubuntu 5.04 (hoary hedgehog). Which is a Debian based distro. Which means it's not a rpm based distro. Which means it uses .deb packages.... 		Mohammed Masud

It's probably Ubuntu. Since yahoo messenger is so outdated, and doesn't support voice or video, I would suggest Gaim, which is already installed with Ubuntu. ... 		Bin Zhang
