I'm curious if anyone else has run across this: my site is an
entertainment/music website for the Midwest currently, and I have
roughly 10,000 venues in my system. I would like to add a field to my
tPlaces (venues) table to hold the Upcoming venue_id. That way when I
submit new events to Upcoming, I can send the proper venue_id without
any additional overhead.

If that isn't possible or easy, how are other folks getting the
venue_id before adding a new event? If you use the venue methods, who
is to say you won't get more than one record returned?

Just a new person to the forum with a couple questions - thanks for
any replies.
