the API endpoints have been changed from:
http://www.flickr.com/services/*

to:
http://api.flickr.com/services/*


so what does that mean for developers? for now, not too much. the old
endpoints will continue to work indefinately, though we'll encourage
new developers to use the new URLs from this point onwards (the
documentation is in the process of being updated). however...

*** if you're using flash, you'll need to change endpoints immediately

the crossdomain policy file for www.flickr.com will be removed in a
couple of days, so only api.flickr.com will allow flash api access.
please update your applications asap.
