we've just released support for all methods to optionally return JSON
or serialized PHP responses. the documentation can be found here:

if you find any problems, we'd love to hear about them (and fix them)
as soon as possible. if you can think of any other output formats
you'd find useful then feel free to suggest them and we'll see what we
can do :)
