As part of our Geospatial services, we would like to offer a
Gazetteer service to our clients using Yahoo! Maps Geocoding API. In
this respect, we would like to clarify the terms of use on the below
item:

(1) Can we use the location coordinates (latitude/longitude)
obtained through the Yahoo Geocoder to place markers on our maps,
and to zoom users to locations? Please note we do not use Yahoo Maps
to show the locations, as we are showing client specific data,
although it is a free to use public web site. The data and base
mapping is rendered through a 3rd party commercial GIS application.
We do not store the location coordinates for future use.

(2) Assuming we can use the API on our web site, and considering we
are not using Yahoo Maps, should we include a Yahoo icon or logo on
our gazetteer web page, to indicate that our gazetteer service is
using Yahoo Geocoder.

We would appreciate, if you could confirm that item (1) doesn't
violate the Yahoo! Maps API Terms of Use, and, assuming this is the
case, provide some guidance on item (2).

I posted this using the Contact us form, but haven't had any reply
yet. So, considered posting it to the group as our request is quite
urgent.

Thanks.
