I snapped off the flash adapter (hot shoe) on my Photosniper.   Message List

Brand new Kodak tripod... and the moment I picked it up and walked
with it the camera just slipped out. The flash unit snapped off the
top of the 'hot shoe'.

The tripod was faulty. Kodak were very nice and after a single
phonecall sent me a gift pack worth around AUS$100. That softened the
blow but I still need to get the camera fixed (much sentimental
value).

It's been at a camera shop for months. They sent it to one repairer
who eventually said he "couldn't get rivets small enough". Now it's
at a second repairers and I have my fingers crossed.

Does anyone out there have any idea what kind of rivets are necessary
and where they might be got?

Thanks,

Geoff...
