Dear Ken,
KH> Hi Sergey,
KH> The full file name is 123 characters. However the path is also at
KH> least as long. So if the file name includes the path then "you have
KH> hit the nail on the head" with the suggestion the NTFS is the
KH> problem.
When a file stored into the disk, it always have a path :) So, your
123-characters named file can't be copied into the destination folder using
any software: ZSync, Windows Explorer, etc. - it's impossible.
KH> I have shortened the offending name and now it syncs fine.
KH> Below is the log entry:
KH> Unable to copy <\\505n\Pavilion505\Documents and Settings\Owner\My
KH> Documents\Documents, etc\Photos\Railroad Photos\Freight Cars\Gary R.

KH> Covered Double Deck Auto Car, 160351, April 29th, 1999,
KH> Toronto, Ontario.jpg> The filename or extension is too long.
To calculate a full name length it's need add the destination folder path
length (local path exactly, started with a drive letter, e.g. 'C:\...') and
the file name length. The log is not contains the destination path and I
can't calculate the full length, but I'm sured it more than 260.
I think, ZSync is rehabilitated? :)
KH> Best Regards,
KH> Ken Harstine
