I've modified the trs project in zxgate for VGA - that was the simplest
because it has an NTSC mode which can be doubled for VGA mode.

PAL is difficult to scan-double unless you use a frame buffer as there is
(AFAIK) no compatible VGA mode that is a multiple of the PAL frequency. One
option you have is to dual-port the internal video RAM in the design and
hang a VGA controller off that.
